BIO

Born and raised in New Jersey, Dr. Niti Mistry attended Rutgers College in New Brunswick, NJ where she received a Bachelors in Biochemistry.  After working for 2 years at Hoffmann La Roche in research and development, she decided to pivot and go back to school. She received her Doctorate in Optometry from Pennsylvania College of Optometry, now called Salus University.  She completed a residency in low vision and ocular disease from SUNY College of Optometry and is also a Diplomate with the American Board of Optometry. Dr. Mistry has been serving the community of Ridgewood since 2012.

 

In addition, Dr. Mistry has recently become a volunteer with Bergen Volunteer Medical Initiative (BVMI), helping low-income working people without insurance or means to pay for care in Bergen County. Dr. Mistry lives in Ridgewood with her husband and 3 boys and is an active member of her community.
